Carrot..... yuck!

Hey, I know this is probably off the subject, but I just ate a carrot that was the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth! I usually love carrots, but maybe this one stayed in the fridge for too long???? Anyway..... Yuck!

    Not slimy... more like.... well yeah slimy kinda... blah! My celery with peanut butter was better.

    I know what you mean! I had one like that the other day. I went to throw them out and dumped half the bag on the floor. The dogs though they were great though! :laugh:

    Oh yeah! That's icky too! It's like they go to one extreme or the other. Super gooey or as dry as petrified wood!

    Yeah carrots are great but BAD veggies are REALLY bad!

    When I buy the big bags of "baby" carrots I dump them in the sink when I get home. They always have water or what ever in the bag. I wash them off and put them on paper towels to dry. When they are dry I put them in a "green bag" and put them in the fridge. I have found that they don't get slimy, dry out or go bad in the week or so they last.
