Im a Pandora listener on my iphone 5S at the gym. My gym had free wifi, so I know I'm lucky! Anyway, the oem earbuds suck. They always fall out of my big ears and they hurt too. Also, they don't do a good job of canceling out ambient noise. I'm tired of fixing them and the feeling of them about to fall out. Thinking of getting the Monster Powerbeats which go around the ear to fit snug. I also like the fact that they have the audio control attached to the wire like the oem iphone earbuds. Looking for some reviews from others.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've been through so many friggin earbuds trying to find something that works. Everyone's ear canal is shaped a bit differently, so they may or may not work for you, but I have found Yurbuds to be the only ones that stay in for me.0

I've found the best ones for me are Bose earphones and they come with 3 different sizes of earbud...mine never fall out.0

I got these or a version of these about 2 years ago and love them, good sound, good connection, and no wires to snag! They connect easily to your phone also, I have used them with Iphone 4 and 4s, and also my galaxy s4. I will never go back to corded earbuds again!
Cheers,
Collin

I think I have tried at least 10 different styles and yurbuds still not my friend:noway:
I have some that go around my ears right now and I hate them.
The journey still continues.0 -

I got these a few weeks ago and I love them. They come with different size ear thingies (scientific term) to meet your ear. I also like that they have a microphone but unfortunately no volume switch. (They also come in colors that are not pink, in case it's not your color )0 -

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my Bose earphones. I always had a problem with earphones falling out while running. Not an issue with Bose. Great sound, as expected from Bose and I hear nothing but my music when I have them on. I have the Sport/Active earphones. I think they are different from the regular earphones.0 -
Collin, do you run with these?I got these or a version of these about 2 years ago and love them, good sound, good connection, and no wires to snag! They connect easily to your phone also, I have used them with Iphone 4 and 4s, and also my galaxy s4. I will never go back to corded earbuds again!

I've used these running for a couple of years. Work great for running, no issues with sweat. DO have to push them in a little every so often but they have not fallen out of my ears nor off my neck. Sound is good and call quality is also very good. Used them with with a several of Android phones/tablets, iPod Touch 3G, laptops and desktops, not had a connection problem yet. Battery life is good, still getting 8+ hours per charge after 2 years.Collin, do you run with these?I got these or a version of these about 2 years ago and love them, good sound, good connection, and no wires to snag! I had the same problem. I actually would make the inside of my ear raw from continually twisting my headphones back in my ear after they fall out. I've since gotten yurbuds (only $30 which is great), and I haven't had them fall out once while running. Only problem is sometime the rubber part comes off (when I'm not wearing them), but I just put them back on and all is well!0

Yep, I have put them through the wringer. I have run with them, I lift with them, and use them when I do yard work, we have a couple of acres so they get put through quite a range of motion. The weightlifting and the yardwork are what made me buy these, traditional buds kept getting caught on things and getting yanked out of my ears...instant rage! After I bought them I did start to notice people threading their corded ear buds under the back of their shirts to keep them out of the way but still think that these are the better option.I've used these running for a couple of years. Bump for reading later. Thanks for posting this!0

I'm just going to point out that at my gym all the benches have holes in them from people using headphones. The wrap around band cut into each of them. Keep that in mind.
These are the ones I used for running till I lost them.

I've got the Motorola bluetooth sport headphones - the ones that go over your ears with a wire connecting them. (Quick visit to Amazon reveals they're the SF600 model). They cost me $35 on sale, although the price fluctuates. I've been using them in the gym for a while now with no sweat / falling out problems. They don't fit all that well around my glasses, and the fancy-looking strain relief block on the wire isn't secured in the case very well, but those are my only complaints.0

I have these: http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Flexible-Headphones-SHS3200-28/dp/B003CJTR82/ref=sr_1_10?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1393335394&sr=1-10&keywords=headphones
I guess they don't necessarily cancel out ambient noise (but I want thear what's going on around me. I think that's important outside of the house, especially, even in a gym). But they have good sound, anyway, they have lasted a long time and they don't fall out. I can't do buds, but the wrap-arounds always work for me.0 -
For wired, hands down, Yurbuds. I love them! I got some bluetooth ones for Christmas that I like - I put Yurbuds earbuds on them. They're pretty good too:

I have these from Amazon:

They're less than $10 and have never failed me. They take a beating and my last pair lasted me for four years before I finally chucked them out and bought another pair of the exact same kind. I like the little clip that holds them to your ears.0 -

Philps SHS390 neckband headphones do it for me - good price, rock solid fit, good sound quality & volume and do a reasonable job of keeping out background noise.0

Do not get Monster!!! They are overpriced junk.
If you want a few sets you can depend on AND provide great sound, check out Monoprice:

These compare very favorably against anything in the $40+ price range, and for the price on them you can get 2-3 sets and not sweat it if you lose/break them!0 -
Monster headphones are pretty solid, at least in my experience. I have a pair of copper turbine pro's that have a nice sound to them, but I usually spare them from the rigors of the gym. I also have a plain set of turbines I keep in my travel bag and while I did have a problem early on (and returned them for a new pair), they've been reliable ever since. I find them to be quite comfortable unless I wear them for hours on end.
As for other brands, I've been using a set of Shure SE215-CL's at the gym and they do a nice job blocking out ambient noise, but I find I'm not as thrilled with the sound coming out of them (I'd prefer a bit more bass). I recently picked up a set of Bose IE2's the gym and so far I'm liking them. I like the sound better than my Shure's but they don't block out noise as well as the Shure's do.
Ultimately there's no perfect headphone but there are lots of good options.0 -
I also have been through a million pairs of headphones (including the wrap around ones) and I finally found yurbuds. I love them. However I just lost one of the ear pieces which is killing me. just emailed them, hopefully they can replace for a nominal cost. :P0

I have these Avantree bluetooth sport headphones and I love them. No more fooling around with wires, I can take calls with them and they don't cost an arm and a leg.

I use: MEElectronics Sport-Fi M6 Noise-Isolating In-Ear Headphones with Memory Wire.
I got them years ago, and even tho the memory wire gives out every six months or so, I haven't found a better alternative that is comfortable, stays in my ears even when sweating, and has decent sound.0 -
I use senheisser cx180..0

Freaking LOVE them ... No snagging wires on weight machines, they stay planted in my ears while I'm doing my core work and they sound great.0
