Diary of a Fat Bloke!

Hey all!

My name is Steve and I'm a 41 yr old fat bloke from Hull in the UK :)

I've been trying for years to lose weight and been unsuccessful, so I'm trying a different tactic! Public shame and embarrassment! :D

I decided that I failed all the other times as nobody knew what I was doing so I had less incentive to keep going. Now I have gone VERY public with it. I have posted it all over my Facebook page, I'm using the EXCELLENT Give It 100 site (https://giveit100.com/@coin/ljzw1n) to do 10-second videos of each days effort and progress, and I've also started a blog on Tumblr (http://fatblokeslog.tumblr.com/) as well to talk about what I'm doing and why.

I've started using the awesome My Fitness app over the past few days as well, to help me track what I eat and my exercise and I'm seriously impressed with how good it is!

So far, in the first two weeks, I've lost 4.8 lbs, which is right where I want to be!

Just thought I'd say hi on here as well. Seemed only polite ;)

Take care all!

Hey good going! Awesome work and keep it up! Trick is to keep at it no matter what even if sometimes you have a break. Have what you want to achieve in your mind at all times and stick with it!

Oh and welcome to MFP! Great community here.... Joined last July and managed to shred 10kg upto now...

Feel free to add me if you need some mutual support....

Your doing great! The food logging is vital to your success, it keeps you accountable and educated on what what's working for you. As you go forward it will also help drive changes you will need to make. Like Cypherq said, no matter what stick with it! It's a lifestyle change.
