Orange Theory

So I am wondering if anyone here works out at any Orange Theory? There is one across the street from my job. And I was thinking that it would be a good option during the hot summer months in AZ where it is really hot to do any workouts outside.
Just wanting to know reviews about it and if it is worth it

I just started going to Orange Theory this month as one opened in my city. I absolute love it and I have tried many other workouts before from the regular treadmill and weights at the gym to crossfit. The best part about it is the better you get at the workouts, the harder you have to work in the orange zone. I'm currently in their weight loss challenge and lost 6 lbs last week.
I would recommend you go try a free class to see what you think.0 -

I've been going for about two months. I've been using it during the winter when it gets dark out too early to go for a run after work. I don't plan to use it in the Spring, Summer and early Fall.
The workout is pretty intense. I'm 160lbs and I usually burn an avg of 500 cals in 55 minutes. I enjoy the workouts quite a bit--the trainers are always fun and energetic and willing to help you get the exercises right. You may even learn some new favorite exercises--no two workouts are the same because teh trainers switch up all the time.
But it's expensive, and their billing practices are their #1 complaint--recommend getting a reloadable Visa card (like a Vanilla card or something) and paying with that. You only get the "monthly rate" if you sign up for auto pay and they will charge you for random crap without even asking first. My location is $60/month for 4 classes/month. Or, $99/month for 8 classes a month. Unlimited is $149/month. That's pretty steep!!!!!
But as you said, if you're just doing it a few months out of the year, its' probably worth it to stay in shape.0
