    You will have far better results doing squats with a barbell than 100 air squats a day.

    ^This...you could do 500 body weight squats per day but you're not going to build muscle. Plus if you can squat every day you're not using enough weight or going hard enough, otherwise you'd be too sore or your muscles would be too tired.

    Look into the majority of Bulgarian, Russian Squat routines.

    Just as a disclaimer - They are obviously advanced routines, But there are people who squat everyday, every other day, 2x a day etc.
