Hi everyone!
My name is Kaleigh and I'm 21 years old. I am looking to lose around 60-70 pounds. My normal weight is about 130-140. Since last summer (2013) I have gained 40-50 pounds and am quite displeased with my figure. At my normal weight, I am constantly wanting to drop weight. However, looking back at last summer's pics, I looked pretty good. My self esteem has plummeted even more so since my weight gain. I feel uncomfortable in everything I wear. None of my clothes fit and I hate to go shopping just to find I've jumped another pant size. I'm pretty much here for friends and support. So, please chat with me anytime I wish you all good luck with your weight loss/health goals!

Welcome, KKaleigh....we're here for you! I'd love more friends for support....feel free to add me. I'm 47, mom of 3 and unhappy with my weight (obviously) so am finding this is working for me. It gets me moving everyday and makes me feel accountable for the food I eat! It's amazing when you document it, how obviously too much we eat and of the wrong foods every day. Join me in my journey. I am still working on another 15 pounds. The more friends you read about, the easier it is for you to feel normal...we all have cravings, we all have bad days.....we will celebrate your good days and support you when you have a terrible day......0

Hi Kaleigh!
I'm new here myself- Im a 21 year old college student who has already lost 40 pounds or so over the past couple of years. I've had MFP on my phone for over a year and haven't really used it until the last several weeks. In using it though, its amazing to find all of the extra food/calories we pump into our body every day, and without thinking about it! Anyways, best of luck on your weight loss journey! If you are diligent about it, the weight WILL come off. I'm looking to lose 15 more pounds myself, so we're in it together!

Nobel and kingdomsora - thanks ladies! I appreciate you sharing your progress and goals! It really makes me feel like I can do this. I've been doing really well during the day with my eating and working out. It's when night time comes around that I get myself into trouble. Not sure how to stop snacking at night.0

This is my first time on the site, and also my second day with using the App. So far it is looking like a really good system. I am hoping to lose 30 pounds, so wish me luck0
