- At my house, running around the neighborhood, or at my grandparents' home.

- Algonquin, Oxford, Nelson and Wabash. We liked to move around.

- No.

- Barbies, Babydolls, Colorforms, Polly Pockets

- Tag, Hide n Seek, Duck Duck Goose, Candyland, Monopoly Jr.

- Here and there, but mainly my Grandma was my baby-sitter.
* Did you have any freak accidents as a kid?
- In 2nd grade we were playing a game in gym class and a boy tripped and pushed me over and I cracked my face against the gym floor. It busted my lip and knocked my front tooth out. I should have made that kid pay my dental bill. Grr :P
* How else did you enjoy spending your time?
- Playing house, school, restaurant. My imagination was all over the place.

- Not as a "kid", but when I was like 15. I'll always have fond memories of Pensacola Beach, FL and the boys we met

- Any trip to Gatlinburg, TN. The whole family would go and rent out condos on top of the mountain for the week.

- With school. I can't remember what I put in it.

- Unfortunately, I'm still here.

- Nothing. I absolutely loved being a kid.

- A dog. He lived for 17 years, so he pretty much grew up with me.

* Did you have any freak accidents as a kid? A few, LOL. One time I was climbing up the bulkhead to the basement and I fell through
I was okay though. Another time when I was much younger I thought it was a good idea to put one of those old fashioned hook latches in my mouth, and I got stuck on it. Got a big scar in my cheek.

I was a "latch key" kid so no...I was my own baby sitter and I watched my younger brother and sister when they came along

when I was in 1st grade my friend and I were sitting at the bus stop before school and a tornado came right through our neighborhood....we didn't know it was coming because our parents were already at work....we started running towards a neighbors house and the winds were so strong they picked us up....it was the weirdest feeling ever....my mom got a call at work that her daughter got picked up by a tornado lol....it wasn't funny at the time, but we laugh about it now....

climbing trees, building forts and clubhouses in the woods

nothing specifically about my childhood...but If I could change anything that happened during it would be that I still had my little sister, she passed away 13 years ago when I wasa 12 years old....

* What toy could you most often be found playing with? cardboard boxes... my brother and I had awesome imaginations and preferred the boxes over any toy we owned.
* What games did you like to play? pretend: school, grocery store, astronaut, house, monster/victim, cop/robber, WWF, etc....

Had the standard 80's set of board games but I was an only child and the nearest kid my age was almost a mile away. So there was a lot of bike riding/racing, fort and bike ramp building, we'd play make believe in the barn...

More than I can count... One of my favorites (again involving the bicycle) one of the older boys that lived down the road had friends over and I went down to ride bikes with them. We decided to build a ramp bigger and higher than any ramp built. EVER. So we found 2 old tractor tires, stacked them, placed a piece of plywood as the ramp (now mind you this was an awfully short piece of plywood, pointed directly and the sun hanging above the trees at the end of the street. Now I have visions fo Icharis... ) Anyway I was brave (or dumb) and wanted to try it first. I went about a quarter mile down the road and pedaled as fast as my little legs would go, swinging the bike side to side for maximum speed (and cool effect) and then I hit the ramp. I kicked my bike out like all the BMX guys did. (Never mind that it was a Huffy with a banana seat) As I sailed toward the sun I realized it was getting dark. I was headed for the trees and there was nothing I would do to stop the inevitable. I took a VERY large tree branch to the top of the head. Knocked me out cold and split my head open. I woke up with all the boys standing around me and one of them said, "Your Gram's going to kill us!!" and the ran away leaving me to walk the mile home while I bled profusely and saw double thanks to the concusion.

Took up a different career. But then again I would not have met my husband. Kept a better watch on my weight, but then I would not have met all you wonderful people. Stayed closer with my old friends.

Fell down a 25 step outdoor flight of stairs when I was 3 and damaged my knee.

Exploring the woods in our neighborhood (it was a REALLY rural neighborhood)

Yeah, but not until I was 14.

Going on our yearly family vacations with my Dad (usually a driving vacation).

Yes -- when I was in the sixth grade, we went to Iowa to visit my parent's friends who had a farm, and I was able to take my best friend with me (the one that I've reconnected with on FB).

Yes...first to England, and then to Colorado.

Nothing. Everything that happened in my life, good and bad, has shaped me into the person I am today.

I had an orange cat named Morris who lived for almost 16 years. We had a Brittany Spaniel for about four years, but my parents found him another home when he bit me on the face.

* How else did you enjoy spending your time? Make believe, used to play a lot of Xena Warrior Princess or arts and crafts stuff. Bike rides and rollerblading with Sam (the Scotch Collie) in tow.

We loved board games, hide-n-seek (we had a huge woods beside our house), and unfortunately, my brother and cousins loved to practice their wrestling moves on me- which always ended with me getting hurt and them getting in trouble!
