carbs??

Hi all.... looking for some info on carbs according to the mfp nutrient (pie chart ) i should eat 50% carbs seems high to me??/ ..what do you guys think and what are some good low cal carbs to get me higher im usually at around 30% carbs and 50% protein..thanks

    I'm usually around 30/40/30 and like the results. (More carbs on workout/practice days though)

    I think there are benefits to low carb in general, but the majority of the good is the greater control I think it gives you over your calories. It's much harder to mindlessly overeat on meat, fruit, and veggies.

    a common split is 40% protein, 30% fat, and 30% carbs, that is what I have mine set to.

    Calculate your protein and fat needs first, then fill the remaining with carbs

    Adjust your macros however you see fit. Personally, I eat 5% carbs, 75% fat, 20% protein.

    And I average 55% carbs, 30% fat, 15% protein. I am perfectly happy, at my goal weight, and full of energy.
