Hello all! I want to start taking fish oil due to all of its benefits. One of my friends told me that it helps with depression, so I just wanted to ask the community here, has anyone experienced this? I will still take it whether it helps with depression or not since it is a beneficial supplement, but I just thought I'd ask what everyone's experience with fish oil has been.

Thanks a lot! :)

  • I do believe that Omega 3 has a beneficial effect on the central nervous system. I remember when I started taking it years ago that I was able to handle stress much better and that I did not wake up in the morning with sore a sore jaw from grinding and clenching my teeth in my sleep. I doubt that fish oil can adequately treat depression on its own but I'm sure it will help.
