How do I know if it is telling me the correct number of calories I am burning?? I feel like it is telling me I am burning more than

I guess you mean the MFP estimates. They are just that, estimates. They cannot know the intensity at which you are exercising.
I have found them to be low on some things and high on others. A HRM is probably your best bet for the one simple thing to help estimate the calories burned during an exercise. Or use machines that have counters on them.0 -

I use a calculator from a different site. It seems to pretty acurate. YOu enter in your weight and height and the activity you are doing. There are many to choose from and its easy to use! Hope this helps!
