If I eat a healthy diet and believe I am receiving adequate nutrition should I still consider supplementing with a multivitamin? If so, which one?

I just get a variety Spring Valley vitamins because they're easily accessible and not too expensive or anything. And I'm a sucker for packaging, I like how many different kinds they have and they all match. *girl problems*

The only way to really answer this is to get a blood test so you can know if and by how much you're deficient. Multivitamins aren't necessary if you eat a mostly whole food diet, but again, it behooves you to find out for sure.

Is it possible that vitamins could make a person lose weight or gain weight?

I check my micro mutrients at the end of the day on myfitnesspal and then decide whether I got enough vitamins on that day. If not then I will take a multivitamin.

  • Dr oz says yes

Reasoning was that nutrients frm diet get leaked during digestion so the multi is like a vitamin backup

He says a lot of stupid stuff usually, but it made sense this time lol
