i've been heavy my whole life and i'm loosing weight, but as I loose it, my skin is not firming up like I expected. Is this because i'm not building enough muscle? Or is there a way to firm up the flabby skin in those tough areas, particularly my triceps, underbelly and inner thighs?

I have loose skin, I have also been overweight all my life. Nothing is going to help my loose skin without surgery! Ill take loose skin any day over weighing 330pds!0

Another thing to take into account is there are two "types" of body fat, as I understand it. There is the firm fat and the more jiggly less attractive fat. The firm fat tends to be more between orgins and also have less blood flow through it. The jiggly fat is more under your skin and has more blood flow. So even though it is less attractive, it's a good sign if you start getting jiggly because it means you are getting better circulation. So it could be just loose skin that has lost elasticity or it could actually be your body fat changing which may mean less loose skin in the long run. Either way, you are doing something healthy for you. Keep up the good work!0
