Tonight is movie and pizza night. I obviously know what pizza I'm having but haven't chosen a film. Any ideas??

Do's:
- Action/Thriller, e.g. Taken
- Comedy, e.g. The Heat
- Romcom, e.g. *all of them!*

Don't:
- Sci-fi, e.g. Star Trek
- Horror, e.g. Mama

The *film* world is your oyster!! I look forward to hearing your suggestions :D

The Heat is funny as hell. That's my new favorite movie.

I have no clue what is out these days but my fallbacks are:

    The Other Guys
    The Departed
    Stripes
    The Blind Side

The Heat is definitely one of my favourites too - 2 of my favourite actresses too :)

The Blind Side I have on DVD - incredible film.

Will check out the others you suggested.

    Thanks :flowerforyou:

Have a Harold Ramis night and watch Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, and Analyze This.... and if your sense of humor skews juvenile (like me) Caddyshack, Animal House, Stripes and National Lampoon's Vacation.

I've seen DBC - brilliant film.

Sorry I should have been more specific - I meant to watch at home, i.e. available on DVD/on demand, rather than cinema :)

haha I just saw Kung Fu Hustle. ♥ She's not gonna like that one. I can't recommend movies to anyone who wants to see a romcom.

If you have ever have the opportunity check out "Amelie" with Audrey Toutou (sic).
It is French, quirky, and romantic :)

A couple of rom-coms I've enjoyed lately are:

Prime: a very cute variation of the usual rom-com formula with great actors. Uma Thurman stars, Meryl Streep plays her therapist, and Uma's character doesn't know that her much younger boyfriend - don't know the actor's name - is her therapist's son.

Friends With Benefits: lots of fun, and who doesn't love Justin Timberlake?

Hope you have a great movie night!
