Coffee....Grrr...

So at my work, the first people arrive for 1st shift at 6 a.m. therefore, when I get there at 7 a.m. there is usually coffee to be had...This morning, someone drank the remainder of the coffee and did not start another pot..So I started my day without warm, delicious, life giving goodness...and I had to terminate an employee which is never fun (unless you're some weird power trippin' a**hat that enjoys that kind of thing).

And now I can't get the wonderful I need froggin' coffee picture to show...my day is ruined...just sayin'

This pisses me off to no end! We buy coffee and use a french press at work, and no one else seems to remember to bring any beans when they're almost gone.

It's gotten to the point where if I get to work and there's no beans, I have to leave again right away and go buy them, or make a Timmy's run if the store isn't open yet.

I make my own at home in the morning, and take it to work in an insulated thermos. That way I have it exactly the way I like it every day :-)

I would love to have a Keurig at work...I work in a Manufacturing Industry though and that thing would "walk" off in a heartbeat!

I also take mine already brewed. But I do have my own coffee at work in case I need more. I go in at 1500, and the cleaning guy makes a pot at 0500, so if there is any left, it is ten hours old. And since he never takes the grounds out, it is too bitter for me.

How sad your lives are that you must rely on offee to get by. I get to work at 7 every morning and don't have a drip of caffiene, I get by better then those who need three pots of coffee every day.

At 6 am, there is always that first person to make the coffee. So at 7 am, you couldn't be that first person to make a fresh pot and share with them? A little role reversal....

Things that make you go hmmmm.

I'm actually the person that regularly makes the 6 a.m. coffee most days..today just happened to be a 7 a.m. day. I also always make a fresh pot if I notice the other is getting lower. This was more meant to be joking than anything. I definitely don't "need" coffee to survive, but I enjoy it, and as part of my morning routine I tend to enjoy my day a little better if I have it. As you can see by my profile picture..I am rarely super serious or pissy for that matter.

Nope, don't rely on it to get by, just really enjoy that warm cup of goodness in the morning..that's the only time I drink it. I'm typically at work at 6 a.m. I just came in late today. Some days I even start at 4 a.m. work until 4 p.m., hit the gym, help two kids with homework, make dinner, care for an infant and still have the energy to rock my husband's socks off before hitting the sack at midnight to do it all over again the next day. So I am by no means relying on coffee to handle all that business..but I eat like a boss, so I figure if coffee is the only thing I want in the morning I'm good!

And this is exactly why I make my own coffee at home in my Keurig to guarantee that I get my wonderful life giving coffee. I hate it when someone takes the last bit without starting another pot.

Well la dee da and spank me sideways. You're just so incredibly wonderful.

And maybe a cup of coffee in the morning would help your grammar problem.

And spelling...my spelling suffers without caffiene..I mean caffeine...I'm still confused about what offee is though...must be decaf...
