Water does not do it for me after a workout. Gatorade 2 (low calorie) mixed with water works fine. So I generally drink 32 onces of it a day, around 70 some calores. Does anyone know the pros and cons of drinking Gatorade 2? Couldn't find anything solid on the internet about it.

Thank you in advance.

"There are debates over how 'bad' artificial sweeteners (like sucralose, which is Splenda) actually are for you. If anything, though, that's probably where your problems will be."

I was a Gatorade fanatic as well, however i started to notice that the sodium content in it is still quite high and it caused me to retain a lot more water.

Try to stay off it for just one week and replace it with water and/or water lemonade (no sugar of course) and it really helped me.

The thing with these low calories drinks is that the sweetness is substituted by aspartame which is not all that good for you!

    Hope this helps!
