12 days til christmas vacation and I get to see my super model skinny sister-in-law...
Don't get me wrong I am very excited to see family but why at the same time do I feel this pit in the bottom of my stomach?? I sometimes feel like we have this secrect "High School Girl" Competition between us. Anyone else out there feel like that about family members?
I'm looking for some new motivating pals!
I'm gonna need all of you to keep me motivated :-)

I have a brother that has six pack abs and looks like a gap model half the time! So I definately know how you feel lol! No worries, just keep working for yourself and work hard to feel the way you want to feel and the rest doesn't matter!0

Yes I know how you feel. My sister in law is 125 lbs and I just can't stand to see it! LOL She has had 3 children just like me but for some reason she hasn't had to work hard to lose that baby weight.0

I feel ya....I have 2 super fit brothers in the Army and a brother who does dowhill mountain bike racing. All 3 make me look bad!
Then there's the sister-in-law. Ah yes, the yoga instructor who looks so perfect it's almost gross. The lovely, friendly, polite lady with the beautiful house, perfect kids and the nice cars. I want what she has - the beautiful, lean body, the super awesome house and the ability to travel whenever I want!

Between the supermodel sister-in-law and the marathon-running, sub 120lb sister...yep, I feel like the fatty even though I'm within a normal weight range. The important thing is to focus on how far you've come, and enjoy the fact that you don't take life too seriously and can treat yourself to a cookie.0

My sister is really petite but I feel like she is really supportive of my weight loss and never rubs it in my face. Do you share your struggles/successes with her? does she feel included in your life?0

Yes...we talk constantly. I've tried to introduce her to this site. She said she'd look when she has time. She was actually the one who got me doing P90X...and vowed to do Insanity with me then well off the wagon after the first month.0 -

Your right! I have to keep reminding myself. Last time she saw me I was 20 pounds heavier and now I am also rocking skinny jeans!0 -

My sister is a size zero! I know exactly house you feel! Before I got married I was a sz seven due to my hips and the junk in the trunk I have but I was FIT! She has no actual curves except up top and after I got married I went from super active to super not! She came to visit on my birthday and I see her and I get this pit in my stomach where I love her but I kinda wanna throw a trash bag on her! Which is horrible I know...Just do what I do..tell yourself that you are working hard & will get the body you want. My sister doesn't rub it in my face she is actually very supportive of my weight loss journey. I couldn't ask for a better sis...just wish she'd wear baggier clothes..:P0

Yeah, it would be a little better if her kids were bratty little rich kids, but instead they are so sweet and pleasant and totally not spoiled! Oh well, I'll just accept that she's got it all and I will soon pass her lol!0
