For the past 3 years i have suffered with what went from mild pain in my shoulders to chronic crippling pain all over my body , not being able to walk up the stairs or very far without feeling exhausted and in agony and my own partner having to help me get out of bed and get my socks on, Im only 24 now so it was worrying me alot im waiting to see a specialist at the hospital this year to hopefully diagnose me.
About a month ago i decided i was sick and tired of being this weak brittle women who was always to tired and sore to run around with her two kids. It was getting me so low that i actually got put on anti depressants . So I downloaded the Sworkit app on my phone and started with just 10-15 mins of doing there strength workout and i would be literally counting the seconds and very tired couldnt wait for it to be over. In just nearly a month of doing it 3 days a week im now up to doing it for 30 mins with no trouble and loving it ! Theres still some things i struggle with like planks , pushups etc but im building them up little at a time.
In such short time i feel so much stronger in myself , not needing to take as many tablets as im not in as much pain anymore, not as tired as i used to and i get myself out of bed on a morning now ! Which believe me is the best feeling ever. I still do get a little sore and a little tired but it has been cut in half since i started.
I recommend anyone whos thinking of doing strength training to give it a go as its made a huge difference to my life

Strength training is awesome & don't be scared to go heavy either, the benefits are amazing....I am doing 5x5 Stronglifts at the moment and I am really into my kettlebells too.....my posture has improved sooo much and no more flabby arms....0
