Your favorite pancake recipes?
I love my protein pancakes but sometimes I want to make pancakes for my family too, and they don't like the texture. My husband's pancakes are delicious but just way too many calories for me, as I'm hungry an hour later (it's 100 calories a pancake or something).
So I'm looking for an alternative that is filling, still lowish calories, but good enough that everyone will like them. I've tried a few recipes and they were decent but nothing amazing so far. Heck if you know a good box mix too, that would work... but typically I'd like something around 200-250 calories for 4 pancakes or something (the regular 1/4 cup batter size). Or less obviously. But no banana/egg stuff... a real pancake.

You could make ones using quinoa like the recipe below

or use almond flour

or chickpea flour (which has a neutral flavour)

I thought these were delicious, and my 6 year old did too -

I used the extra pumpkin instead of oil. I also used 2T white sugar instead of stevia.
I think the recipe feeds 2 people, but it's really low in calories - like 400-450 for the whole recipe. You probably want to at least double it depending on your family size.0 -
I LOVE this recipe for greek yogurt pancakes, they taste amazing and are loaded with protein. I like to use vanilla Chobani and add a little extra vanilla extract. http://www.everydaybelle.com/greek-yogurt-pancakes/0

That is my go to recipe for pancakes. They are applesauce pancakes, and each one comes out to about 80 calories.0
