Is there a way NOT to net calories?

Today is my first day of doing the TDDI and I want to keep track of my exercises in MFP but I don't want to net my calories. *tia

    Confusing question.

Do you mean you're starting the TDEE method, so don't want to log your exercise burns so your calorie and macro goals don't change?

If so, enter your exercise and put the burn either in the title or in the notes section at the bottom of the page if you want to keep track of it. But log it as .1 calorie burned - the system doesn't do decimals and will log it as 0 cals burned, and your calorie and macro goals won't change.

    TDEE?

you don't log exercise with the TDEE method. Just put your burn in as 1 calorie.

you don't log exercise with the TDEE method. Just put your burn in as 1 calorie.

This or create a new exercise called ' Exercise offset' or something then enter the amount of calories you burn that negates the calories. It's useful if you want to monitor calorie burn as well

    This exactly.

Or, if you want specifics and you want to keep track of the amount your burn, then log it in notes.

I like TrainingPeaks, but it might be overkill unless you're a serious athlete and want lots of analytics from HRM, GPS, etc. Endomondo seems popular but I used it only for last year's US National Cycling Challenge.

Yes, you can simply put your exercise in, but change the burn number to 1 calorie. That is how some of my friends do it, and how I also used to do it while doing TDEE.

Digifit (iCardio) is great if you have a HRM-- LOVE it!
