Hello there.... Sigh... Well I guess I couldn't go at it by myself. I spent about 8 months in MFP and dropped almost 70 lbs. then I thought I could go at it with out logging and what not. I did great until Christmas and then I took a ride on that slippery slope of " well it's the holidays " and I have put on 12 lbs... So I am back!

I am 44 and live in Colorado, I hope to be going on my nightly walks again soon, it's starting to stay lighter longer here! Woohoo.

I am looking for a few friends who actively log and are encouraging... but what I DONT want is to be trashed for either not hitting calorie goal for a day, or going over on a day... Etc... Just looking for someone to join me in fighting their demons, while I fight mine too lol.

Jackie

I am back on the wagon too
  • Sounds somewhat familiar! I went from 145 to 121 on MFP... stopped logging because I was doing so well & had a lot of motivation to maintain. Well - time went by, things change, I lost my motivation & just found I wasn't really paying a lot of attention. Back up to 138.5 (as of this morning)! I'm not really focusing too much on the weight number anymore... but I need to pay better attention (and get in some more exercise). My reasons for getting back in shape are a little different this time around! :) To be honest, I am not looking for a ton of MFP friends (it just gets overwhelming) - but to have a nice friendly little core group is fabulous! I'll send you an add, if ya don't mind! :) Cheers!
