Yes!
So through out today, I have noticed I have been doing little exercise, but tracking my Calories. It's amazing what one can learn from researching the things we put into our bodies. Never did I think so many calories would be compiled into one meal.
But what's your opinion on what we put inside our minds?' Do you believe positive thinking has a major impact on what we do, how we do it and our decision making? I think so.
Often, I see posts on here involving people that are skeptical about weightless, or don't know how to start/give up... all because of negative thinking. In my 22 years of life, other than the support of myself, my crutches
and a thing such as this,
I have learned that taking the "High Road" is vital.
I wake up every morning thanking God for waking me up, giving me food on the table, and providing me with the strength to make it through the day. I may be new to this Wieghtloss thing, and wanting to live a healthy lifestyle, but I know that I will get there. And so will you. With patience, a drive to make a change and having the realistic knowledge that no one is perfect.
Every second you breathe arises a new opportunity to change and makes things better. I've learned so battling a disability and disease my entire life, things I can't control. But what I can control is the force to better myself, my quality of life and my approach.
Stop second guessing yourself, and just TRY. It doesn't hurt... and if you feel like giving up, Remember that there isn't any reward in that. Choose to make yourself proud, prove others wrong and ultimately BE HAPPY.
It is one of the most wonderful things about existence. If I can do it, you can do it. Learn to understand that your circumstances don't define you. They may be in your world, apart of you, but YOU are the one controlling IT/THEM.
Don't sweat the small stuff, because it's all small stuff![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Positive thinking isn't so bad either. Breathe, get up and make a change,
and when a mistake or fault arises, give yourself some credit for even trying....
then turn around and do it again with a smile on your face.
Life is a never ending roller coaster, and I love taking the ride and learning from everything I pass.
Mind over Matter. Crush that anxiety between your toes and with every bone you shake.
You can do it! If not, the only thing fooling yourself is none other than....
Y O U.
Much love,
MissCamry

I read this study one time where a coach had 20 players make free throws for an hour a day and another 20 think about making free throws for an hour a day...after time had passed, there was virtually no difference between the two groups. So - that being said, I strongly believe in the power of our minds. There is no obstacle we cannot overcome, no barrier we cannot cross, and certainly, no goals we cannot reach. I listen to how my friends and co-workers talk about themselves and it occurred to me that we treat ourselves worse than any enemy ever would.
There is nothing wrong with thinking positive - even if the so called "realists" tout their negative views as a matter of fact - we are negative because it is easier to accept the bad that could happen so that we are prepared if/when it does come to pass.
It takes practice - I used to be one of those "realists." Once I decided to try thinking positive, my mind opened to a lot of possibilities and definitely kept me from making significant mistakes.
Some food for thought to supplement the incredible post!0 -
I completely agree, fire walking, and that's an interesting story. I love it
An organized mind leads to an organized life
Thanks so much for backing me up on this one, and I wish you the best of luck in your journey!
