Don't need to. I lost weight by just eating less. My general philosophy is if it isn't sustainable, don't do it. Learn to portion, learn to eat mindfully, and find an exercise you love. Anything targeted for weight loss is either a scam or dangerous0 -
Nope. Have some sitting in the cupboard. They smell good, that is all that's good about them.0

Nice of you to try and patronise me but I have already read reviews as stated in the original message, was just looking for people on here's opinions.0 -

Sorry are you saying you read all those posts on MFP and were saying that the reviews seemed good?
Not trying to patronise you but try reading them again because in thousands of posts its very difficult to find one that says they work let alone that they are good!0 -
I've used them off and on in combination with some other supplements. I do see more progress when I'm on my supplements. But i can not say that the Rasp Keytones alone aid in weight loss.0

Tried them and they did nothing0

You have wasted your money. There, unfortunately, is no magical pill to help you lose weight (speaking from experience.) You will be better off exercising and changing your eating habits. The best of luck to you.0

Does it even matter ?0 -
Tried them in conjunction with exercise and healthy portions and I saw no chance it weight loss when using them. Only thing that works is portion control and exercise unfortunately.
They also made me feel very sick and dizzy... You can't get rid of the disgusting artificial raspberry taste either. Everytime you cough or breath you taste them... Ewww.0 -

That's about it. They certainly didn't do anything else, not for me anyway (but raspberry burps do smell nice).0 -

He was just trying to save you some trouble. If people would utilize the search feature more often, the same questions wouldn't be asked over and over. These kinds of threads are very predictable: OP asks about raspberry ketones, hyrdroxycut, etc., successful losers comment and say that they don't work, but eating at a deficit does, OP gets upset and says people are being mean to them. That's how it goes 99.9% of the time. Maybe not this time, though. There's always hope.0 -

So what you really mean is that you are only looking for opinions that validate your purchase of something that is silly and useless, right?0 -
I totally agree. And they weren't cheap!0

http://www.healthstatus.com/health_blog/plan-for-weight-loss/facts-and-fiction-of-raspberry-ketone/
And just to point out one thing on the page....Fiction: its effects are based on extensive research.
Fact: A group of Japanese scientists found that raspberry ketone prevented the high-fat-diet-induced elevations in body weight and the weights of the liver and visceral adipose tissues. It also decreased hepatic triacylglycerol content increased by a high-fat diet. The mechanism behind raspberry ketone’ effect on obesity is by increasing norepinephrine-induced lipolysis, which is linked to the moving of hormone-sensitive lipase from the cytosol to lipid droplets in fat cells. In simple words, raspberry ketone changes the metabolism of fat and prevents fat accumulation in body and liver. But, the research was conducted on rats, in enormous doses – two percents of their body weight. So, if you have 150 pounds, you would need to consume three pounds of raspberry ketone every day. Even if you were ready to do it, it is not sure that your metabolism would react the same way as that of rats.0
