HELP!!! I went to Macy's, Dillards, Torrid, JCPenney, Burlington Coat Factory, and Target. I looked online at Lane Bryant, Avenue, Chicos, Lands End, LL Bean, Bergner's, CJ Banks, Walmart, Kmart, Sears... I CANNOT FIND A JACKET. I'm going to Germany next week and want something light weight. It will be about 45-50 degrees there. I want a rain resistant jacket, but not necessarily a rain coat.
I'm 31 and don't want to wear something my 90 year old grandma wouldn't wear. Size XXL is still a bit too small, so I have to buy in Plus. I also don't want to spend a lot of money. $60 max.
Any suggestions?

Nike has really nice ones that are made for running in the rain. I'd check the website.0

Amazon.com. Seriously, they have just about everything.0 -

There are a few different sprays on the market that can make a jacket water resistant, in case you find a good jacket that isn't already water resistant.0

Amazon has everything. Try online stores.0

I have a super lightweight & waterproof NorthFace jacket I can't live without. I think it was like $100 tho, & the sizing might only go up to XXL, but it might be worth looking into - I know there are some NorthFace outlets around.0

I bought a light weight, waterproof Adidas pink jacket a year ago to take on a river trip but never used it...it still has the tags on it. It's cute. Since then I have had weight loss surgery and it will never fit me or be worn. If you are interested, I would ship it to you. What part of the country do you live in? Not sure if you'd get it in time... I have never posted on here before so I am not sure what the rules are but you could send me an email if you are interested.

I was recently suggested this by a friend:
http://www.amazon.com/Pearl-Izumi-Barrier-Convertible-Cycling/dp/B00ALV61BU
It is a little out of your price range, about $80-100. But it is totally worth it. The sleeves unzip and it turns into a vest, which is great if it stops raining or becomes too hot. I wore it on a super muddy trail run, and it ended up filthy and washed out perfectly. It is light enough that it doesn't weight me down, but the body heat retaining of the jacket is phenomenal.
I bought the yellow one for high visibility, as I run on the street sometimes.0 -

What size?0 -
London Fog, I bought it on special for $70CAN in Vancouver, all the jackets in Australia where very expensive but once we got to Alaska they were around $60US so could have waited till we got to our destination. The London Fog is great, nicely fitted and so light.0

I have a Carhartt J162 001 that hasn't let me down, even in rainy Western Washington. They probably have a woman's version.0

Ooh I like that one a lot!! But do I want to spend $100 when I'm hoping to lose more weight? Guess I could sell it on ebay.0
