Thirsty or Hungry?

I know for every article out there, there's another that contradicts it. Just as about every couple of years eggs go from being good for you to be being bad for you.
My question is, from experience, does anyone believe that you can mistake hunger pains for just being thirsty.

I would have to say yes...there have been times when i felt as if I wanted a snack or something light to eat and decided to grab a bottle of water instead and it did help. The feeling of hunger went away. I tend to always grab some water before all of my meals...not only for more hydration but it also helps curb the appetite0

Thanks Christy. And also, congrats on the weight loss so far, you look great!0 -
I do often but am learning tofigure it out. My stomach does growl sometimes now when I'm thirsty since uping my water intake and then not drinking as much the next day or two. I can tell by having some water before stuffing my face with food first, if my stomach stops growling and I feel content then I know for sure I was just thirsty. It can be a trial and error thing for some folks.0

I just find if I drink water when I feel hungry it leaves me with this horrible empty yet sloshing about full of liquid feeling. Like a half-filled water cooler!0

Absolutely. I see this all the time with my kids. They are 3 & 5. Sometimes they will say they are "hungry," but I know there is no way that they could actually be hungry. Often a big glass of water will satisfy them, and they will stop asking for food until lunch or dinner.0
