Any woman happy with 23-25% body fat?

I'm still not happy with how I look. I still have a bit of a muffin top, but that's my genes unfortunately and the last place I lose. I have a couple rolls in my back that have to go. I still have a belly... but it's mostly loose skin at this point. Bottom line... I'm still planning on losing 7 lbs, but I don't think I'll ever be happy with the way I look. I'm around 24% body fat right now I think, but I'm not deluding myself and know I'm just too lazy to do heavy lifting (I lift my dumbbells at home 3x a week, up to 80 lbs for squats, but that's it... it's already a drag for me honestly). My mom said I was nuts and don't have 7 lbs to lose (but she's always been overweight and I don't trust her judgement one bit). I wear size 4-6 clothes, depending on the brand (I have a large frame).

So when do I know it's time to stop losing?

I think we will always want something better than what we have but I think once you feel comfortable with yourself then just work to maintain it so you don't gain and ruin your progress. Good luck!

I am at 25% BF, 165 and a size 7....I wont be happy until I am at about 22% BF.

But you don't have to lift heavy if you don't want.

I have watched my sister (older *coughs*) go from 24% BF to appx 19%-20% BF this past 8-9 months with 10lb dumbells and doing extreme shred and shed, ripped in 30 while eating lots of food, 20mins of cardio most days and Karate 2x a week with her son...

ETA: when do you stop? who knows that's up to you...I know I am done with a deficet on the first day of summer and moving to maitenance regardless of where I am because I want to take a break, still logging and maintaining my exercise....maybe after these 7lbs are gone take a break....you might need one...

When your happy with how you look and feel! I am at about 23% body fat too, and I am not going to quit until I am satisfied. I suggest that if your feeling bored with your workout, switch it up! I have used workout videos, wii fit, personal trainer (still see him), gym membership, bike, ran, walked the mall a few times, looked up quick workouts on the internet I can do at home, and the list goes on. Don't give up! I believe you can do it!

The things you seem frustrated with sound more like toning issues than weight loss issues. Add in more resistance / strength training (isometric is fine if you're sick of weights) & get to your loss goal, then see how you feel!

I'd imagine lots of people are. It's perfectly healthy after all and not everyone has the same aesthetic goals

I'm about 24% and totally fine with it. Some of your (dis)satisfaction might be with where or how it's distributed though. I don't have anything I would refer to as a roll, and I prefer a slightly softer look. Do what makes you happy.

I couldn't give a toot about it, if I did I'd go nuts and then find something else to worry about once I'd addressed it!

There is balance and moderaton in ALL things , each to their own. I am happy being healthier than I was, perfection is not a goal.

I guestimate that I'm between 19-22% right now. I'm "happy" in that I think I look good both in and out of clothes. I'm still trying to lose though, mostly to see how low I can go and I want to see some six pack abs.

I do keep measurements and run them through a calculator for a rough idea (mostly to make sure it's going down) and I'm around 24-26%. But it doesn't mean anything really, since ultimately it's all about how happy I am. If I was happy and found out I was actually 30% would that suddenly change my perception of myself? No, not at all.

    At least it shouldn't

    Stop when you are happy.
Personally I hate when my body fat is that high, but I do lift. Can't really go to low without muscle. You could go down to 18-20% I guess but its really up to you.

Did you ever have your body fat tested so you know what you actually are?
