I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who lost that ability lol.
Oddly enough record players are coming back into style and not just with hipsters as more bands put out vinyl and turn younger folks onto the sound quality. Which is a shame as there's only one factory left in the US to press them. Sadly VH1 has stopped with music too. They don't even do their Christmas videos anymore. VH1 classic is our last bastion of 80s/90s videos.
Kids learning much of anything in public schools
Cars that didn't all look the same no matter the company
arcades
.25 game machines
Cities without walmart
A time when life was simpler

2) VCR player and VCR tapes
3) Blank Disc (the ones that they use to use as USB's before USB's came out) My mom use to give me a blank disc every time I had to do a science project. I hated it so much !! Thank the lord for USB's
4) Radio tapes
5) Cd players and old school radio's
6) Aol and dial up internet
7) Houses with strings connected to the ceiling fan instead of light switches (my grandma's bathroom doesn't have a light switch and the cord that use to turn the light on and off is gone so we never turn the bathroom light off :O)0 -

Maybe because its not summer and feels like it hasn't been summer in soooo long.
I remember being outside all the time as a kid even if it was just playing by myself in my backyard sand box.
