Sprained ankle

Hi all, I sprained my ankle on Dec 23rd, I rested, iced and elevated for a while after, there's still a weakness there but overall feels ok...however it's still fairly swollen - is this normal?
(I've been training 3-4 times a week but am avoiding running).

Anything over two weeks should be seen by a doctor. It might be OK but you're using it too much, or it might be a worse injury than you thought. Have it checked out.0
