Good and bad really. Some great points and some not so great (you can't build muscle while eating at a deficit, and some special K cereal isn't going to kill you).

And those magazines that tell you how to drop weight fast ALWAYS have some delicious cake or dessert on the front page as well.

I love this article. A lot of times it seems like people pick a goal weight because that's what they imagine they'll look good at and get so fixated on calories and burning as much as they can. Building the body they want with real food and a healthy lifestyle gets lost in the equation and they focus instead on breaking it down to get to their ideal weight.

I think this whole article could easily be summed up with: Never take "health" or weightloss advice from someone trying to sell you something.

If it was written by a 20-something year old fresh out college working at a fashion magazine that's selling for 3 bucks in a checkout line... why would you take that seriously. Or infomericals trying to sell you hundreds of dollars worth of prepackaged foods, or a subscription juice fast service, or when a company just keeps pumping out workout video after workout video- if the first one was actually effective, why do they keep pumping out more?! Even some doctors only care about their cut of profit! "Oh yes, keep substituting your coffee with fake sugars and only buy low fat this and that, it's healthy, I promise... but I'll just write you a prescription for your blood pressure, your thyroid, etc..." Ugh.
