Feel like I eat too much in quantity?

myFitnesspal has set me at 1200 calories a day. Over the last couple of months I've taught myself to cram in as much food into such a low calorie amount.. as you do.

However, I've got to a point where I'm feeling guilty for eating it all as it feels like a huge amount of food.

Below is a sample day of mine (it only reaches 955 calories! so I would need to find an extra 200 somewhere)

Please could someone check my day for me and see if i'm going wrong because I have trouble trusting the rules! I feel like I should be eating a lot less in quantity.

Quantity is irrelevant. And yes, you really do need to make sure you hit that 1200 calorie MINIMUM. IMO, what you listed is NOT alot of food.

If you're having trouble reaching your goal, eat foods that are higher in calories. Work in a treat or two. You don't have to restrict foods just because you're calorie counting. You can eat whatever you want, just fit it into your calorie goal.

I dont think you are eating too much.
You are on the right track but maybe you are trying to be too good.

Ninkyou is right about everything. You dont have to restrict yourself because you are counting calories. Everything in moderation. Its all about quality, not quantity.

You do need to reach 1200 minimum.
Why not try and plan your day the day before? This way you can see how much you will be eating and adjust it accordingly to up your intake if you need to.

Thanks for coming back to me. It's good getting other people's perspective. Especially when they are going through a similar ordeal. or gone though :)
