    Hi All!

    Just found this post! I'M IN.... and am already going!

    This is actually the 2nd YEAR that I have given up LIBATIONS for LENT.
    In my case, I chose to "SUSPEND" my booze consumption for the full "46" Days.

    My MOTTO!

    NO Breaks, NO Fakes I did not PARTAKE.
    Was afraid that if I made a MISTAKE
    LIGHTENING might HIT me for GOD'S SAKE!

    (Was quite an incentive) :-)

    LOL!

    Last year I lost 7Lbs.

    Of Course.... It seems to have come back...
    (Hmmmm...... Wonder how that might have happened???)

    ANY WAY ..., Good Luck to ALL!

    TIPS for having a good time with friends going to happy hours and the like...

    1. Invest in several bottles of the Calorie Free water flavorings (also works in calorie free sodas) - Experiment w/ mixing and matching. TAKE them with you so you can make a colorful drink and TASTY concoction!

    2. If you like BLOODY MARY'S as I do, have the VIRGIN VERSION (try to say that 3 times fast) at your favorite Bars and Restaurants (many come with a little treat) Be careful on the TREATS though... make sure that fit into your eating plan.

    3. CHALLENGE your favorite Bartender to create LOWER CALORIE Drink that looks good in a Cocktail glass!

    With any luck..., By the end of your LENTEN Challenge,

    you'll have LESS A _ _ !
    (Better Stop there... might get censored)

    I'd do it, but I'm Irish.

    That would mean no drinking on St Patrick's Day.

    Also, I'm Irish.

    So it's kind of impossible.
