2 Not Great Days, Need Some Motivation

Whether or not it's true, I'd like to blame hormonal changes for the last 2 days. I haven't worked out, was a bit sick, and overate both days. Not *horribly* bad, but not great either.
Yesterday's included a half jar of pickles and 8 Andes Mints, and today's included 7 (yes 7) Ho Ho's. Now I legit have not had a ho-ho in years, but I saw them at the store and grabbed them. Somehow I convinced myself they were "low calorie" dessert options. Well, perhaps that's true if you have one. Not so true if you have 7.
Mostly I just needed to write this to be accountable. I admit I hid my ho-ho box from my roommate (she's on weight watchers) b/c, truthfully I was embarrassed. Also I stayed home from work today b/c I was sick late last night and early this morning when I got up (12 hrs later though...not as sick, hence the ho-hos). Admittedly I was a bit worried she'd think I was faking sickness earlier.

Good job for being accountable.0

Quit beating yourself up. Tomorrow is a new day. You'll be back on track in no time if you just put your mind to it.0

2 bad days isn't the end of the world. It's okay. Forgive yourself, learn from it and move on.
Also, are you restricting yourself too much? Like thinking that sweets and such are off limits? If so that may be part of the problem. It's about moderation NOT deprivation.0 -
Also, your diary really doesn't look that bad at all. It really doesn't. The only thing I saw is a lot of sodium, which can make you retain water.0

The Andes & pickles aren't that bad! The ho-ho's...we all have days like that. I often overdo it on the chocolate. Like REALLY overdo it, to where I'm embarrassed to say how much chocolate and other sweets I've had in a day. Don't beat yourself up too much; your eating will probably even out over the next few days. Pay attention to what your body is saying and try to get all your macro's in.0

Today I went out to eat for lunch...and felt like crap about it afterwards but i had to tell myself that its okay cause i ate as healthy as I could. I guess what i'm saying is you realized you ate bad and you can move on if you thought there was nothing wrong with it then it would of been an issue. We eat to live and sadly sometimes we eat for other reasons. Dont give up you got this and thanks for posting to let people like me know we all have bad days! Good luck0

No, I generally am not a huge sweets person. Though I do try to restrict my salt intake (chips, fast food, highly processed, etc) though that's not going well...0 -
Thanks everyone, just getting feedback really does help
Next time I want something though I think I may have to force myself to buy just a single serving portion, not a whole box. I still have 3 left and it's very obvious it was a bad idea to buy a box of 10.0 -

And you know what, it's okay! Today I ate like I hadn't eaten!! in a week. Literally food all day long. I went over and told myself that's okay!!! It's one day, or two days. It's okay. Learn from it, move on. Do better tomorrow. You got this!!!
But absolutely do not or stop beating yourself up. That only leads to a bigger vicious circle and doesn't do you any good.0 -
Don't quit yourself!0
