Hi! I am just struggling! I can't seem to get back on track. I get so discouraged when I gain weight. The other day *3 days ago*, I weighed in (same time and place) and weighed in at 117.00 lbs. I weighed in at 123 lbs. WHY? I am continually getting discouraged. Do you have any advice for how to get back on track and STAY on track?

You are going to need to open your diary for any real advice.

If you haven't already, read this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants

I would say that you are weighing yourself too often. Why dont you try once a week and then you might be more likely to see the results that you are hoping for.

I would suggest to stop weighing yourself for a little while, fluctuations are normal but can be discouraging. I would suggest setting yourself a new goal: 6 days a week you will stick to your calories + 5 days a week 1 hour excersise, and then after 7 full days you can weigh yourself again. You can choose al kinds of mini goals I just gave an example. But would not advise to weigh yourself more then once a week really.

I've gained 5 pounds in two days from water weight alone. Definitely do what others are saying and weigh yourself a little less often. When you weigh yourself, do it in the morning, with no clothes, and before you eat. Also, make sure that you didn't do any heavy weight training or ate a lot of sodium the day before.
