I have had to do this a couple times, and it was kind of a pain in the tush. However, it taught me the value of measuring. I broke down each ingredient, measured it and calculated the calories. I entered the whole pan (or bowl, or whatever) and then divided it by whatever the serving was (1/8 of the pan, etc.).0

some clever person on here found this site..
http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp
just enter the measured ingredients and how many portions that will make and it will calc it for you.0 -
This is the absolutest easiest one to use I have found yet--
http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php
I use that to figure it out, then enter it here on MFP as a "my food" and save it so if I need it later.
Also, you can use the "Save as a Meal" feature here on MFP--enter all your ingrediants, hit "save as a Meal" and then you've got it! Same thing really as a recipe calculator.0 -
:flowerforyou: Thank you all so much!:drinker:0

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I used this website's list of calories for each ingredient. It sounds like some other folks have MUCH easier options for you! :laugh:0 -

Thanks, Mary24, for asking this question. I've wondered about it before.
Thanks, shorerider, for the link to the about.com calorie calculator. I just tried it out. FANTASTIC...and so easy! I know I'll be bookmarking it and using it often.0
