I tried making a tortilla/wrap with chickpea flour but it just wasn't right, the texture was not very nice at all. Can anyone recommend a tortilla recipe using flours other than wheat? Thanks.

Not here at least, in fact most are made from wheat. Thanks for the suggestion of corn flour, admittedly I did think of it but wasn't sure because I wanted something with similar nutritional properties to chickpea flour.0

Try Teff flour. The kind of grain that is used to make the Ethiopia bread. http://www.bobsredmill.com/teff-flour.html So delicious.0

Our tortillas I do 3 cups all purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 cup milk and 1/4 to 1/2 c of lard. Makes about a dozen tortillas. I haven't added it here yet as I just started up with counting calories again. I tried coconut oil and while they tasted great it was hard to roll with out them breaking.0

look for Masa Harina. That is corn flour that is specially made (they add lime) I have found it in regular grocery stores or in the "ethnic" food aisle
