Your mission should you choose to accept it: Something for dinner that is:
-Delicious
-Low calorie (doesn't have to be "clean" but that's always nice)
-Boyfriend approved (maybe so good that there will be adult friendly exercise afterwards ;)

Kind of in a rut of fixing the same old thing.

How "low calorie" are you talking? Less than 300? 400? 500?

If there is an Asian market near you can make one of my favorite light meals: homemade spring rolls. They should have rice and tapioca paper at the market (I like tapioca but they're both good) and you just soak it in lukewarm water until it's soft and stuff it with spring mix, cucumber, carrots, avocado, fresh cilantro, Thai basil and mint. All of which you should be able to find at the market in addition to a yummy sauce (I like sweet chili sauce but I'm not sure the calories but I know it has a lot of sugar). Or you can make a yummy homemade peanut sauce with soy, peanut butter, brown sugar, etc.

Throw some baked fish on as the main course and season it with some fresh lime and you've got a light and unusual meal.
Or you can always cook some shrimp and stuff those in the rolls as well!

    Now I'm hungry...haha :)

Chicken Posole. It is like a spicy-ish chicken soup. Plus it is super easy to make in the crockpot.

Check out the recipe on the http://www.coffeeforus3.com/crockpot-chicken-posole-freezer-meal/

Curries are always great go to recipes for me, I make em up as I go but here's a simple one that is similar to what I do (I cut the coconut milk down and add yogurt and use chicken more often than shrimp - and a little water if it gets too thick. Serve with Riced Cauliflower a little Cilantro and a tablespoon of chutney and you are still well under 500 (and if you can find them a sprinkle of Indian Crispy Onions (40 cal for 2 tbsp) for crunch
