Just starting out! Any tips?

Hi! I want to lose 10lbs by May. I have been logging my foods in MFP for a while now, and have just began working out. I will also be making sure to log my weekends, seeing as I have let that slide.

What kinds of tips and tricks could you offer a newcomer? My calorie intake is set at 1300, and I want to work off around 300 per day in the gym without eating much of it back. My weightloss is cosmetic as opposed to medical, and I have opened up my food diary to the public so you can take a peek if you'd like to get the specifics.

Thank you all SO MUCH, this community has really inspired me to be the person I have always dreamed of.

    1,200 calories per day and working out 3x a week is working for me! :)
