by weight 4 oz is a cup, so 16 oz is 4 cups,
liquid is 8 oz to the cup, not weighed
there's a difference0 -

4 oz (weight) of what is a cup? This would be different for everything, including different types of rice, depending on how dense it was. So if the 16 oz was by weight there is no way to know how many cups it actually was. If the 16oz was by volume then its 2 cups, but most of the time non-liquids aren't given a volume measurement in cups.0 -
can you just grab a measuring cup and grab some?
i'm confused by all this lol!0 -

Do you know it was either 1 or 2 cups for sure? If your sure it was one of the two then it should be easy to guess by how much space it takes up. If 1 or 2 cups was a guess and for all you know it could be 1.5 this wouldn't work though.0

Figured it out. My GNC cup has the measurements on it.
And I have photographic memory and I remembered what the measure was.
My GNC thingy is 24 oz.
The rice stacked up reaches the the 16. So
It was 2 cups.

Don't worry about converting it, log it by oz.0
