Starting Calories different

I know that alot of people on here have daily calories at 1200 but why are some at 1800 or more and how do you do that? Mine is 1330.

    Some people are taller
    Some people are shorter
    Some people weigh more
    Some people weigh less
    Some people have different goals
    Some people are older
    Some people are younger

    You can manually change it on here.

    Many people toss the MFP recommendations, look up their TDEE, subtract 10-20% and eat that (including exercise calories into that).

    For many, 1700-1800 seems to be a small deficit.
