Question: Can you lose weight eating late (half hour before bed) and eating at a deficit and still lose weight?

Yep - meal timing makes no difference. As long as you have a deficit then you can eat anytime you want...can even eat IN bed if you want to lol0

This is what I do. I eat smaller meal frequently, so I'm usually having some protein shortly before bed. Having a deficite you will always lose weight.0

I eat the most at night. I've tried to change that but I've found it makes no difference when I eat. I'm 5'5" and 121 lbs female 19.5% body fat and I eat the majority of my calories at night.
Just pay attention to what and how much.0 -
Well, meal timing does impact weight gain in a small way.
Eating earlier means you'll be able to expend those calories throughout the day before going to sleep. I've always followed a routine of eating less during lunch and dinner, and don't enjoy the feeling of a full stomach before going to bed. Timing your meals is like understanding the fact that food is energy. You don't need much energy to fall asleep. But as the other posters said, a calorie deficit is more important for losing weight.0 -
I just keep it to a small snack before bed, and no worries.0
