Elliptical Machine??

I'm looking to buy an elliptical machine. Any suggestions on a decent not too expensive one? I'm thinking around $500. I live on a 2nd floor apartment, so noise is an issue. I have a jumpy, pounding 3 year old, and my downstairs neighbors have never said anything, but I'd rather not be a terribly rude.

Any advice or suggestions help!!

    I purchased my Nordic trac ACT Elliptical in Jan..so far so good... and saves a ton of space. Got it from Sears for less than 700 with coupons and discounts.

    I bought a schwinn 417 elliptical a few years ago and it proved to be a decent machine.

    My recommendation to is you is: don't buy new. Buy a second hand elliptical on Kijiji or Craig's List. This is the type of equipement that is greatly underused. You will be able to find an almost new machine for a fifth of the price of a new.

    You need to be patient. Scan the listings every couple days and you will find what you're looking for, guaranteed.

    Hey that is a great idea..and so true. I doubt I could find a good deal in my area, but worth a try.
