34 pounds gone forever from MY body for me!

my inspiration was always me. me, me, me! I am worth it :D and SO are you!

I did it. I lost over 30 pounds! The healthy old fashioned way. Exercise, eating healthy and learning to be patience and love/believe in myself.

I am currently in maintenance and enjoy it and find it a much easier lifestyle than weight loss was. (kind of always heard how much of a struggle it can be so was terrified!) I made a nice transition and I am so happy with where I am at physically BUT especially mentally. At first, I struggled to recognize my body. Scratch that, I STILL struggle knowing what I am looking at sometimes. For as long as I could remember, I was insecure about my weight and bought clothes that HID me the best I could. I didn't like shopping. I didn't like attention. I didn't like myself. I struggled with eating disorders, self-esteem issues, depression and just a bunch of funks. I won't lie to you, losing weight didn't mean I lost all of the mental struggles as well (common misconception: when you lose weight, all of your troubles will go away... after all, that is why you're unhappy right?) BIG awakening for me. I was looking better in the mirror, shopping BUT still felt sad. I now see a therapist weekly and am working on the underlying issues that I have and couldn't be happier with my progress.

here are my progress pictures! :D

thanks for looking! My only hope is to inspire others who may feel similar to me. I tried and failed a million times, but the decision to keep trying is the best one I made EVERY time.
