Hi, I am wondering how to record a steak. I had one that was about 378 grams total, but after i finished eating it, the bones weighed 108g. So do i take the difference and put that into mfp (270g) or does it account for the bones if i add a specific steak like tbone?

Just record the amount you consumed - awesome that you have a scale, entering things that way is best. So yes, I would subtract the weight of the bones and just record what you actually ate.
And now I want steak.0 -
Look for an entry with USDA in the description for that cut, plus things like "fat trimmed," "lean only," "grilled," etc. or whatever best fits the one you had. The more generic entries may or may not include fat and bones, and may be raw weight.0

As swiftdogs says, take some time to find the most appropriate and complete entry.0

alright thanks, I'll exclude the bone weight then. 103g is a huge difference in amount of calories which is why I wanted to know.0
