I've been doing general running and cycling so far but I'd like to try something else. Just wondering what you guys are doing and why you enjoy it?

As a kid, I always rode my bike. I did BMX until i crashed, then tried roller hockey and soccer. I started biking to work around 2008 or 2009, then I just rode for fun. I got into cycling later, and bought a road bike. Now I got a mtn bike and CX bike as well.
I love riding bikes.
I still run from time to time, group sports are fun, but now'a days I can't rely on my lazy *kitten* friends for much, except those that ride bikes.

Road cycling is great because the people at the events are very friendly. Also I like that I can brag about the amount of mileage I can travel on my road bike Mountain biking is an adrenaline rush and provides that excitement and danger element.0

I like tennis. It's aerobic. It is fun to compete because it pushes you harder than you might otherwise. You have to do it with someone else so it is social. And, it occupies your mind, which makes it more interesting than jogging for miles or doing the same weight lifting routine over and over.0

Whatever works for the season.
In the summer: Running is boring, but no matter where I am I can get a run in. Biking is good, and I like to make biking day trips. Mountain biking if it's cool, and hasn't been raining. Hiking when I have time and can go someplace new. Paddleboarding when it's warm and not windy/wavy.
In the winter: downhill skiing, cause I like to go fast. Not much else. But I have snow shoes and XC ski. Though this winter has sucked all motivation from me to do anything outdoors.

I swim about 10k a week. Indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. I like it because I just love the feeling of being in water. Also because I'm reasonably good at it so I don't look a fool! :-) It's nice too because with the cooling of the water, the only bit of me I notice getting hot is my face, and even that just goes pink, rather than pink and sweaty!
Downside though is that you have to be quite careful about what times you go to have enough room to swim at your own pace without crashing into other swimmers.
Aside from the actual exercise, I find the regulars at the pools I go to are a little community and we know each other's routines and share thoughts and tips and things and it's nice to feel part of a little community like that.0 -

Plus one on the swimming thing, I totally agree with all of those points. (My face gets hot too!) I've never tried outdoor swimming so that's on the list for the summer - I assume you meant open water swimming?
My absolute favourite exercise/sport though is road cycling. It is awesome. It's got all the benefits of walking but it burns more calories, is low impact and you get to see so much more of the scenery as you tick serenely past.. Cycling is also a little community and, in the UK at least, there's always a local cycling club who organise group rides with leaders who know the route and competent riders staying back to make sure there are no stuggling stragglers.0 -
Running and Obstacle Course Racing. I love the feeling of running, accomplishment when I run a new distance or make a new record in pace. I like that it's something that I can do without having to rely on other people too. Now, combine that with my love of challenging my whole body and you get Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) I love being able to say that I did that because it's not about how fast you are or the distance, it's whether you have the upper body strength and the guts too. I like to challenge myself and you can do it solo or with a team or partner.0
