Hello, New to this. Just started yesterday. I never really knew how many calories I was taking in each day. I truly Hope this helps me lose the much need weight.

    Welcome Heather! MFP is a great tool. This app really opens up your eyes about how much food you actually consume.

    Welcome, if I have any advice for you dont cheat on what you are inputing.... make sure everything that goes in your mouth gets put into your database. There are so many great motivators on this site. You will be dropping pounds in no time!

    Good luck. It's probably the number one certainty when it comes to losing weight (keeping a food and exercise log). The trick is to really look closely at what you consume and try to find ways to make it better. You'll see lots of people here that continue to try eating the "old way" (and therefore not enough good food) and after awhile that will stop working. Try and make a really good plan for you and you will totally get there.
