salsa is not normaly a problem but the problem is the chips and crakers.0 -
you could do a fresh veggie or fruit tray. those are always a hit.
do you want finger food type things?0 -
How about several different flavors of hummus and a veggie tray?0

You might like Pumkin Fluff! Can be used as a dip or made into a pie! (I made the pie and brought it to Thanksgiving.. everyone loved it & opted for it over the regular Pumpkin pie!)

Have you guys ever had cat's eyes? They're good. I'm not a "recipe" person so I don't know the exact amounts but all you do is:
1. Take a piece of thicker cut ham (a little thicker than sandwhich sliced), and make sure it's nice and dry (use a towel and dry them out for a bit.
2. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese (you can use the fat free or 1/3 less fat one. I prefer 1/3 less fat because it tastes the same as normal, fat free tastes off to me) on the ham. Might take some practice. But just a very thin layer.
3. Wrap the slice of ham/cream cheese around a pickle. The mid sized - whole pickles work the best.
4. Cut up the wrapped pickle into about 3/4 inch thick slices.
That's all! You can do as many as you want. They're kind of high in sodium (hellooo pickle) but they're SUPER good and low cal.0 -
Shrimp cocktail
turkey sausage stuffed mushroom caps
fruit salad
deviled eggs (use part greek yogurt instead of mayo)
stuffed celery (PB, humus)
salmon dip (use LFcream cheese & greek yogurt)0 -
Thanks for everyone's input! I found a recipe and I modified it a little bit.
1 box of sugar & fat free jello pudding (the recipe called for vanilla but i decided to use cheesecake)
Instead of using the full 2 cups of milk to make the pudding...only use 3/4 milk and 1 1/4 cup of cool whip.
The recipe also calls for a can of pumpkin..but i only used half can.
1/4 tsp of cinnamon.
So I basically made the cheesecake pudding with the milk and cool whip mixture. Then I added half a can of pumpkin and the cinnamon and mixed it well. The original recipe called for it to be put into cups (this is super low cal option). I had the great idea of just putting it in a ready made pie crust to add some texture and yumminess.
I highly recommend this and a lower calorie desert option. It was very Yummy with or without the pie crust.0
