Get rid of the baby weight

Hello MFP. My name is Dana. I've been a member for a while. I've reached some weight loss goals in the past but never like this. I just had a baby. He is now 2 months old. Some of the baby weight came off but I'm in no way shape or form in reach of my goals. Ultimately I would like to reach my ideal weight of 150, but I'm willing to lose weight the right way so ensure it doesn't come back. Though I've lost weight in the past, for some reason I'm not sure where to start (this baby weight has thrown me for a loop). Any Suggestions?

Hi Dana! I also have a 2 month old (my second) and her name is Dayna! I have about 20lbs to lose. I think a good place to start is logging all you eat for a few days so you know exactly where you arehen setting a realistic food goal. I have mine set at 1700 calories as I'm ebf.
Good luck! Feel free to add me!0 -
Congratulations! My suggestion as a 2-time mom? If it took 9-10 months to put the weight on, give it 9-10 months to take it off. I don't know where you live, but if you have access to a baby boot camp fitness type of class or not, I would highly recommend giving it a try. You are with other moms exercising, supporting each other, getting fit and spending time with your baby! I weigh less and am more fit now that before I ever had kids--go figure!0
