I apologize if this is considered advertising....FWIW I am not selling this eBook, and I do not do any online training, so I am not profiting from this in any way....
I just finished writing my lately eBook "Road Map: A Beginner's Guide to Fitness." I think this would be a good read for someone that is just starting out with exercise. In the book, I cover goal setting, and how to design your own workout routine. I also added in two sample workouts, as well as a sample exercise list to help you set up your own workouts.
Feel free to send me a PM with your e-mail address if you would like a copy.

In order to create a useful training program, one must have enough experience in the weight room to know what is going to work for them. Until that level of competency is achieved (which can take years), it is best to select a program that has been proven to work well and consistently with a majority of the people who try it (5/3/1, Starting Strength, Stronglifts 5x5, Korte's 3x3, etc.) For those of you who bored by programs like this, here is an article that will carry you through your next 4-5 years of training.

Hello there, my name is celia. I would definitely find it very useful to have a copy of your work with creating a workout routine. I've had a P.T for the last 6 months and it's been amazing but I don't know that I'll have this luxury when I have both school and work in the fall. My email is celiakalema@yahoo.com
