Endometriosis and diet. Anyone else suffer from this...

Hi I have endometriosis. It's awful pain terrible cramps and I have repeat ovarian cysts.
I have heard diet can play a big role in treating. Mainly having no gluten, dairy or beef. I have tried this but find it hard to sustain.
Does anyone else have it? What are you doing to treat it ? Suggestions please. :)

I have it too. It's awful! I saw my gynecologist and she put me on birth control. She said during my period is when I grow cysts, so she just had me stop my period completely! I take the three weeks of pills to suppress it then I start my next pack and do the same thing. I can noticeably see and feel a difference. It's still difficult to lose weight though.

Hey I'm doing that as well. Taking the pill back to back now. And not getting my period. I'm finding it super hard to lose weight as well. :( so frustrating.

I'm going to focus more on transitioning to organic whole foods, including organic coffee and tea, over the next month or so. I'm looking not only to make healthier choices but also looking into nutrition therapy for endometriosis. Have to try something to help combat hormones which are really messing with my diet, mood, etc. If anyone is dealing with similar issues and has any suggestions for foods, recipes etc, please feel free to add and share as will I!! : )
