    ghost in the shell (stand alone complex not the 2 artsy-fartsy movies)
    I'm so far behind on anime, all you see anymore is the hip stuff that makes it on tv. Used to go into the music store and there'd be a ton of stuff that looked good nobody heard of. I used to get alot of it cheap at the dollar stores.
    Planetes is a good one too

    Not really anime but they're good series: Battletech from the 90s and Exosquad
