I was posting my meal for the day and I noticed descrepency a 5 oz grilled fish has 230 calories and 10g of fat anf 1 piece of fried fish was 80 calories and 4 grams of fat, doesn't sound right to me. ( how big is 5 oz of fish?)

I've come across similar things - i just go for the one that best matches my meal. I find it hardest with home cooked meals or resturant meals - who can guess the weight or know the amounts of all ingrediants? best advice, is don't worry too much about this being an exact science and do your best as a guide :)

A suggestion I have is to get yourself a scale to weight your food. You would be surprised what 5oz's looks like. It's a fair amount. By weight your fish you will have a better idea of how much you eating. You can get this food scale at any department store or hardware store.
